Submited By: Marlon Van der Linde on 06/08/2011 This is my favourite play-about vfr plane, as usual Javier did a stunning job on it. The plane itself, as well as this model feel very robust and real. The textures are great too.

Submited By: Joerg Hartwig on 06/08/2011 The aircraft is very detailed. But it is somewhat lame, despite the turbos.
The old Hawker or P38 or Corair F4U climb much faster at full speed.
I have the problem solved as follows: Set in Plane Maker, in engine section, then criftical altitude of 20,000 feet to 30,000 ..
It's as if I push the aircraft a bottle of oxygen in the air filter. It climbs easily to 35000 feet.
Outside, the sound is ok. Inside the sound is terrible.
Reminds me of Verticopter.
Flight characteristics: Excellent!!! Starting and landing is a pleasure.
The raindrops on the windows are great. Only it's raining now with me in the hangar. Lol ....
Not Problem, It is very impressive in the rain.
I think 4 stars is realistic. The sound must be better inside.
I think the developer can do more. Because the competition does not sleep.
Recommended: Definitely!

Submited By: Charles Coppa on 12/23/2010 I currently fly the T-34C for the US Navy and am absolutely stunned by the realism and attention to detail! I've been thinking about buying X-plane for some time and you've just helped me make up my mind!
I've looked through the manual and there are (as one would reasonably expect) some differences from the actual aircraft, but I am still amazed at how close you have come to creating the real thing. Nice job!
Looking forward to "flying" it and seeing if the realism continues in the air...

Submited By: John Porter on 12/12/2010 This is one of the best! From the minute you load it, growling and rumbling on the runway, you can't wait to get this metal masterpiece up and flying. I love the cockpit detail and functionality - it is right on par with the very detailed cockpits in the better fighter sims and manual switches are easy to use.
It's a joy to fly and challenging enough to keep you engaged. Worth the price easily!

Submited By: david claerbout on 11/27/2010 textures and overall detail are stunning. I can't really say anything about the flying characteristics as i have been into one of these:) in terms of photo-like textures this is as good as it gets. Thanks for pushing the limit a bit further once more!

Submited By: Frank Willfeld on 11/22/2010 Certainly one of the most impressive aircraft ever designed for X-Plane!
It looks right (actually more than right), feels right and performs exactly the way you would expect it to.
Innovation: 5.5 (The raindrops and the lighting FX are just great!!)
Looks: 5.5 (The proportions and the texture are beautifully rendered and give a very real impression)
Performance: 5 (cant get any better than just right, sry ;))
Summary: 5.33 of 5 Stars for this exceptional and innovative piece of native X-Plane work.
Try it its worth every penny!
Happy Landings
